How it works
Forget searches that are too broad: Boolean search combines your keywords so only the profiles that matter show up.
List your job titles
Add the target title and its variants (CRO, Chief Revenue Officer…). The tool groups them with OR, in brackets.
Add the required keywords
SaaS, B2B, Fintech… They must all appear on the profile: the tool links them with AND.
Exclude off-target profiles
Intern, freelance, student… The tool removes them with NOT.
Copy or open your search
Paste the string into LinkedIn, Sales Navigator or Recruiter, or open it straight in LinkedIn. Then refine with the filters.

The mistakes that skew your search
If your results look vague or off-topic, it’s often one of these classic mistakes. The tool avoids the first two for you.
Do
- Put multi-word job titles in quotes: "Head of Sales" rather than Head of Sales.
- Keep OR groups in brackets: ("VP Sales" OR "Sales Director").
- Focus on job titles plus 1 or 2 terms tied to your ICP.
- Split into several searches if you target several industries or seniority levels.
Don’t
- Writing and, or, not in lowercase: LinkedIn ignores them.
- Stacking generic keywords: the search stops returning anything relevant.
- Writing a string that’s too long: LinkedIn may cut it off.
- Relying only on Boolean search, without LinkedIn’s filters.
Combine Boolean search with LinkedIn filters
Best practice for B2B prospecting: Boolean search for job titles, filters for the company. After pasting your string into the Keywords field, refine with:
- •Seniority level (C-level, VP, Head of…)
- •Company headcount (SMB, mid-market, enterprise)
- •Industry (SaaS, Fintech, e-commerce…) or location (France, UK, Europe…)
- •Function (sales, marketing, operations…)
Filters do half of the targeting work.
